July 'Tard of the Month

Friday, August 1, 2008
It's that time of the month again. No, not that time. Time for 'Tard of the Month!

This month's choices are Karl Rove, Jesse Jackson, Elaine Donnelly, and Ted Stevens. Now that's an impressive field. I'm having a hard time deciding!

Get out there and vote, people. These matters don't settle themselves.

As much as I dislike what that Donnley Wretch did, hands down, no one beats Karl Rove for sheer evil

It is soooooo Elaine.

Rove may be evil, but Elaine's just too stupid to get on the short bus.

And... in a stunning upset... the real winner is Downey Savings And Loan. Here to accept the award is none other than company spokesman Marshall A. Nonymous. And Elaine Donnelly looks stunned, Howard, she was getting up out of her seat while the envelope was being opened, I think she thought she was a shoo-in; by the way, Howard, do you have any idea who that woman she's with is, they seem to be quite close. And Karl Rove is shaking his head but smiling, I can't tell if he's relieved or offended; a lot of the folks out in Vegas were putting good odds on Mr. Rove this evening. Ted Stevens, of course, could not be here with us tonight, we understand that he tried to make arrangements to attend tonight's ceremonies and was told that his bondsman would have to post an additional sum to allow him to leave the court's jurisdiction. A spokesman for Mr. Stevens says he's extremely disappointed but sends his regards. Wait-- hang on-- yes?

I'm hearing through my earpiece, Howard, that Reverend Jesse Jackson is currently backstage challenging the rules and procedures that allowed tonight's upset decision. I can't say I blame him; this is, if I'm hearing this right, I have someone in the booth informing me, Howard, this is the first time there has been an upset like this since the February 1937 'Tard Of The Month trials... I'm sorry, was that '37 or '38--someone's going to check that for us.

A momentous event in the annals of 'Tardom. We will be keeping you posted as things develop, please stay tuned to this station. And we'll be cutting back to the late Howard Cosell now, for his perspective on tonight's unforeseen and unexpected surprise developments; Howard?

Sorry!

Per Jim's most recent update at his blog, it looks like he received a satisfactory apology, so DSL may have disqualified themselves anyway (or at least taking steps to disqualify themselves). Which would be a good thing.

That's correct. Apology received.

Details via email to the UCF.

Yes, Karl Rove is eeeevil, but Elaine is an idiot, hence, a 'tard.
She's got my vote for sheer stupidity.
