Is Simon burnt out on American Idol? Is the pressure JUST TOO MUCH? Where will Idol find another judge with Simon's caustic commentary and atrocious manners? Who Cares!

sheepishly raises his hand

Yes, he's a butt.

Yes, he's full of himself.

But the others are just crazy. Simon usually has precise (if cutting) commentary.

I usually fast forward to the singing though, so perhaps I'm not one to talk. ;)

Sorry, not snarky enough. I say no to Hollywood.

I'm not an Idol fan but have seen the show and really he and his comments seem to be the best thing about it.

Shawn, I'll pretend I didn't hear that. LALALALA!

Hi Max. I'll try to do better in the future, since I live to entertain and all. Hehe.

Welcome, Travis. You may be right, but if true, what does that say about the quality of the highest rated show in the U.S.?

The thing that kills me is that we have more quality television available to us now than in any other time in the medium's history, and Idol is the top rated show? Really? Man, we suck.

Reality television is pretty much forbidden here at the Yellow House.

I call it lack of reality TV. It's all staged.

The only unreality show I watch is Hell's Kitchen...Gordon Ramsey is one of my secret crushes...of course after watching it you may never want to eat in a restaurant again after you've seen what really goes on in a kitchen.

"Yellow House"

Janiece, every time you say that I keep thinking of that tavern right on the edge of the trailer court (yes, really) on the outskirts of the town where I went to high school.

Given your problems with the homeowner's association, it's highly amusing to think of you living there. :D

I'm with the "no reality TV" group, except with me there's no "pretty much" banishment - they are all banished. But then, most of what I watch has science, history, and forensics in it.
