April 'Tard of the Month

Saturday, May 2, 2009
It's May, y'all. You know what that means. No, not flower planting. April 'Tard of the Month voting!

This month's candidates include Jesusophile, who's YouTube videos had better be bad satire, otherwise it's a safe bet that the end is nigh; Sheikh Habib Al-Habib, whose understanding of human rights and child abuse are exceeded only by his misogyny; Perez Hilton, who single-handedly offended every gay-rights moderate in the country with his foul reaction to Miss California; and Michele Bachmann, who is making a new career of being Dumb in Public.

What say you, Hot Chicks and Smart Men?

I've gotta vote for Bachmann. I'm pretty sure Jesusophile is trying to do satire, and Perez is just a moron. But Bachmann is actually an elected representative of your country. She could really do some harm.

Megan, me too.

What the hell is wrong with the Minnesotans in her district that they think this woman represents them in a meaningful way?

Lay down the crack pipe, people.

Once again, It is REALLY hard to pick just one...Sad isn't it that there are THAT many Tards in the world.

I stand by my contention that Jesusophile is doing very, very dry satire and shouldn't even be a nominee, but hey, obviously it's your list. His "why sex should hurt" isn't his funniest bit, but I think his other videos give it away. As does the glory hole Kate pointed out.

Bachmann all the way. She's the gift that keeps giving and giving and giving. In fact, just go ahead and give her a lifetime achievement award.

BTW, in case you missed the news: the 8-year old was granted the divorce this week.

The fact she was allowed to divorce does not make Sheikh Habib Al-Habib any less of an idiot and an asshole.

Michelle: that wasn't why I was passing along that bit of news.

Frankly, I'm not touching the subject because I don't think Sheik Al-Habib's assholeness is unique or individual, but I really don't want to open that can of worms. 'Nuff said--indeed, prolly too much.

You said it, brother.

And I'll say it - when an entire culture is misogynistic and has no regards for human rights, it's no surprise when an individual exhibits those traits.

The Sheikh is not a unique and delicate snowflake. Unfortunately.

For a change, I found this month's voting to be easy. Michelle Bachmann, all the way. Who are these people in Minnesota who believe she represents them?

Supporting document in support of Rep. Bachmann's candidacy for 'Tard Of The Year courtesy of Pharyngula.

I suggestion Rep. Bachmann perform a simple experiment to determine whether or not carbon dioxide is a "harmful gas" or simply a natural part of the Earth's life cycle. And all she needs to do to perform this simple scientific experiment is procure a dry-cleaning bag (or a garbage bag will do, if necessary), pull it over her head, and securely tie off any openings. All she has to do then is wait a few hours and keep notes of any observations she makes. If carbon dioxide is simply natural, and therefore not harmful(!), Rep. Bachmann should be fine.

I would've voted for Bachmann if it weren't for the presence of Idiot Sheikh. Just because he's not the only misogynistic asshole in his culture doesn't make him any less of one.

But yeah, Bachmann really shouldn't be allowed out of the house without a guardian and/or a straightjacket. She is just all levels of batshit crazy stoopid.
