ZOMGitsCriss Video

I swear, the crazies are coming out of the woodwork lately. Shit I haven't looked at or thought about in months is suddenly hot stuff on certain Google searches. No accounting for taste, I guess. So what will I do this fine Sunday morning? Stir it with a stick AGAIN. Hehe.

So it appears that Ray Comfort, our favorite Young Earth Creationist and his personal butt-monkey Kirk Cameron will be "donating" copies of Darwin's Origin of Species at colleges and universities in November. Why, you may ask? Well, so they can include Comfort's "introduction" to the book, which supposedly "debunks" evolution. Since Comfort is such an expert and all.

::eye roll::

Well, it turns out that one of my favorite YouTubers, ZOMGitsCriss, has a few things to say about Mr. Comfort's plan, and the moronic Kirk's endorsement of same. Enjoy!

One missing link that deserves to be lost in the annals of time long past.

I'm assuming you mean the YEC position...

You know with all this finger pointing at these church going types you are coming across like an intelligent redneck. No that is not an oxymoronic description Janiece, it's just ( because I love you)nicer than other monikers that could apply.
There are more important things to worry about like; what was that weird growth under your deck? Or one of my favorites; what's for dinner? You are wasting your time, your considerable brainpower and way too much energy on these guys. Please stop scaring the shit outta me with these posts. I'm getting worried. I'll hopefully see you and Smart Man in October by the way. My treat this time!

Dude, quit yanking my chain.

You know as well as I that these nutbars are trying to get their ideas taught in public schools in the guise of "science." I don't know about you, but I don't want YEC or ID taught as 'science' under any circumstances.

There's spaghetti for dinner, BTW, and don't make me engage in name-calling with you. I'm warning you.

O.O

I cannot fathom why this stuff continues to surprise me. Jeez, these people just piss me off.

The stupid...it burns...

Sheeee-hit. They're writing a refutation to a 100 year old treatise.

In most areas of science, a work is outdated in 5 years.

Whatever (considerable) truth is still in Origin is supported by the current literature. If they want to be taken seriously, they need to debunk the Journal of Evolutionary Biology.

If they could understand it, that is...

:D

John, surely you jest.

Silly wabbit.

Even though I live where I live, I will be keeping a close eye on what TPT learns, especially in science....

I kind've like the idea of handing out special edition bibles with an introduction by Richard Dawkins or PZ Meyers. That would be some serious fun - especially if we did it in front of churches.

Somehow, I'm guessing that's not what Kirk means by "equal time" though.
