If the ones I posted a picture of - with the little western-ish embroidery along the shaft - were on the operetta heel they'd be in my closet today. I'm not nearly as comfortable with thinking I could stand all day in the 3 1/2" truth heel.
Okay, so I think I could probably afford the Worldcon membership, and the time off shouldn't be a problem. Do you know of anyone that could use a roommate? XD
That's during the semester so I'd probably need to cut out on Sunday during the day. I won't know if I'd come in Wednesday or Thursday night until I register for fall classes unfortunately.
Dang. :( Oh well, I may be able to just suck it up and get my own hotel room, since I will hopefully be rolling in the moneys after the internship. But I'm starting to feel like I'm spending all the glorious money before it's even in my pocket! XD
