I retired from the Na...I am in a similar situation. I retired from the Navy in 1998 and returned to school to get a degree in Electrical Engineering. I now work as a civilian for the US Navy. Financially my story is comparable to yours and I too am grateful for what I have. I think I might be a bit behind you on that curve, but I'm surely on the right track now.
