...of the homemade Blackberry Jam is Carol Elaine,* with a Random Number of 17, and Dr. Phil, with a Random Number of 10. I'll get those in the mail this weekend.

Enjoy!

____________
*This is the third time Carol Elaine has won jam, and I'm beginning to suspect her friends at JPL are somehow gaming the Random Number Generator I use on her behalf. ::looks suspicious::

Well, phooey. Then again, CE gets jam, and I got to see you... :-)

While Janiece's jam IS amazing, I daresay you still got the best of it, neurondoc.

First of all, I'd like to thank all the little people who helped me get where I am today...

Oh, wait, that's the wrong thank you speech.

I guess The Universe just means for me to have your delectable jam, Janiece. And I am not one to argue with The Universe.

[mumble]I gotta go pay some people...[/mumble]

Harrumph.

Obviously I accused the wrong person of trying to game the system.

I don't get jam OR to see Janiece.

*goes off to pout*

Who-hoo! I never win anything!

Of course my randomly assigned random number reminds me of my favorite math joke: There are 10 kinds of people -- those who know binary and those who don't. (grin)

I call foul! No jam AND no visit with Janiece? Booooooo. I am starting to suspect I am the victim of some sort of discrimination, and I am clearly historically disadvantaged. I demand an immediate review of the equity provisions that could be built into this contest.

Dr Phil,

mine is

2+2=5
for sufficiently large values of 2

too many of my friends know binary.

We're not really jam eaters in my house, so I'm happy to see the jam go where it is appreciated.

My favorite math joke was an answering machine message that I stole from somewhere:

"The number you have reached, 555-5555, is imaginary. Please rotate your phone 90 degrees, and try again."

We got a lot of hang-ups when we had that message.
