Attention, Dickweed: Yes, I Mean YOU

Sunday, November 8, 2009
Attention Dickweed who was sitting in the last row of the theater for the 2:45 p.m. showing of Men Who Stare at Goats at the Parker 20 Mile Theater with your kid:

If you don't want to be "disrespected" in front of your son by being called out on your incredibly rude public behavior, then the answer is not to be a bigger DICK. It's to stop spending the entire movie TALKING like you were hanging out in your living room instead of a PUBLIC THEATER. I don't give a good goddamn how "crazy" you think you are, and your suggestion that your poor behavior really has no limits scares me not at all. It just means you're a pathetic reprobate who still needs to learn some fucking manners.

Christ on a crutch, will people ever learn how to act?

On more than one occassion I've left my seat unnoticed, sought out management and simply told them to watch when I returned to my seat, then deal the offensive asshat that is (beside, behind, ahead) of my seat.

In most theaters they are happy to comply with my reqest, and the offender is removed or reseated in another area.

In answer to your question: No.

These people drive me insane. The simple answer to your questions is No they won't. Because mommy and daddy didn't beat the crap out of him when they had the chance. I did enjoy the movie, however.

Couple of years ago I had a similar experience @ a Jethro Tull concert @ the Buell Theatre which rarely hosts rock concerts. You could practically hear a pin drop with everyone listening in rapture so I was appalled when the fatso behind us started blabbing away to two female seatmates during the first two songs. I was amazed that someone could be so inconsiderate never mind oblivious to everyone else in the theatre. I turned around & glared at him a few times but he didn't get the hint. Finally between songs I turned around & asked him to leave the theatre if he wanted to talk. The entire section started clapping! He didn't utter a sound the rest of the night. Guess I was lucky!

The one downside about going to movie theaters more often due to dating CuteFilmNerd? More exposure to people who have no idea about how to behave.

Some people should never be allowed in public.

Strangely, I never seem to have this problem...

...more than once per movie.

I don't know why. ;)
