A couple of weeks ago, I got an e:mail from one of my very favorite confectioners, BonBon Bar. They were running a promotion on a new candy bar. It's the Bourbon Bar, and the proprietress was running a special offer where a percentage of the purchase price went to Haiti relief. Well, far be it from me to stand in the way of charitable contributions - I ordered a three-pack.
Well, they arrived last week, and last night the Smart Man and I shared one after dinner.
ZOMG. THESE CANDY BARS ARE A RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE, EVEN FOR ME, AND YOU NEED TO RUN, DON'T WALK, OVER TO BONBON BARS AND ORDER SOME IMMEDIATELY.
I've always been a fan of BonBon Bars, but I have to say that this one is my new very first favorite.
Yum.

Well, as long it's for charity and all...
;)
Oh, ok. Force me to eat something with bourbon in it for charity. Sounds like a win to me!
Only $15 for a 3-pack. I thought they'd be REALLY expensive. (grin)

I've not yet tried the Bourbon Bars yet, but I LOVE the Scotch Bars. Are they better than the Scotch Bars?
I went to their website and looked at all the selections. When I got to the page with caramels, I could swear I caught a whiff of eau de caramel, as if they'd mastered the art of smell-o-vision websites.
Carol Elaine, they are better than the scotch bars, IMO.
I have just learned from reading Jim's latest blog entry that I am no longer allowed to use "ZOMG," even in jest, otherwise it will CHAP HIS ASS.
Hehe.
Yeah, but when you think about it, everything chaps Jim's ass sooner or later!!
You know, I sent my friends Bourbon Bars, and didn't order any for myself. DAMN!
I can't order any, because they'll arrive while we aren't home.
Sad Michelle is sad.
Perhaps, just perhaps, your hostess might order some. For testing purposes, of course.
And - Jim didn't prohibit the far more expressive personal favorite of mine, OMFG.
Jeri is now officially my first favorite hostess.
Hmm...
