Loot! Loot! LOOT for ME!

The Smart Man got a screaming deal on this new 22 inch Acer monitor, and so bought it for me as a "just because" gifty. I'm still getting used to it, but so far I'm thinking it's pretty darn sweet.

Thanks, Smart Man!

I love my 22" monitor, although sometimes the print isn't easy to read. But I can fix that easily enough when I need to.

Congrats, both on the monitor and on having such a great Smart Man.

I just thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for using the correct aspect ratio on your new monitor.

Sincerely. :)

Shawn, the Smart Man wouldn't be caught dead using the incorrect aspect ratio, and since he installed it...

Shawn -- how did you know that the aspect ratio was correct from that little picture?

When incorrect aspect ratio annoys you as much as it annoys me -- you can identify it from 100 yards with one eye closed on a foggy day wearing sunglasses. :)

Lucky you! Viewing from my 19" regular bulky monitor that is not a flat screen...

SmartMan treats you right. It's one of the many reasons we love SmartMan. (In a totally appropriate and platonic sort of way, of course! ;)

And what Shawn said.

Second the call on the Bad Aspect Ratio Visibility Allergy. I HATE going into Big Box stores and seeing most of the HDTV set wrong. Definitely a failure of encoding and programming in the design of DTV and HDTV that this isn't automatically handled.

The future pisses me off at times.

Oh, and nice 22" monitor.

Ah. I can tell in Real Life if the ratio isn't correct, but I doubt I could in a picture that small. Shawn, I was expecting that there was some sekrit computery trick to it. IWhatever you had said, I probably would've believed...

And Janiece -- nice Smart Man and nifty monitor (forgot to say that the 1st time). When my office moves next month I will be getting a 22" monitor for work. Yay!
