Nooooes!
While walking The Incomparable Boogie™ this morning, I found out that all the Qwest activity in our neighborhood is not due to the deployment of Fiber to the Home.
They're putting in a new cell tower in the utility easement, instead.
Waaah!

OK, I have some commenting to catch up on. Busy with re-audit at work (boo audits, yay passing for now!)
Hot water heater not on fritz anymore, works better than it ever did! Apparently it NEVER worked right but it's cookin' now!
Biscuits and gravy when you come to visit, please.
SmartMan phone = my next one!
20 Mbps. What can I get with a Verizon wireless USB thingy?
Michael Vick = pimple on the ass of humanity (amongst others).
Can't even comment of stupid CeeUNextTuesday who was breastfeeding and cell phone using. While driving. Brain melts.
Damn Qwest.
That is all (for now)!
Take a breath, Mechanicky Gal.
I'll stir the pot while you regain your composure.
I had a lot to catch up on!
If your good, those towers are hooked to the internet with rather high bandwidth fiber, get to hacking.
Hmmm, Thordr, I currently have internet though the cable company. Not bad, but I am a Thrifty Gal (I have skillz!) so I am looking for maximum usage internet. I don't travel much, but it sure would be handy. I have heard that the download speeds for the Verizon/Sprint USB is reeeaaaalllly slow. I don't know the buzzwords for the properties of these things.
Amy, I don't know anything about them, other than some of the sales folks I know use them and seem happy.
