Boogie Blogging Friday
It's snowy, slushy and messy in Colorado today.
Of course, that doesn't stop Boogie the Giant Schnauzer from enjoying the snow, and eating it like it's going out of style.
He was soaked when we got home from walkies, and since he went for a bath and a haircut yesterday, he smells like his shampoo - grape.
Which is 100% better than smelling like a wet dog.

While wet dog is a vile smell, I have to say I'm deeply, morally opposed to dogs smelling like grape. Grapes should smell like grape. Grape soda should smell like grape. Grape jelly and grape jelly beans and things injected with artificial grape flavor. Wine should smell like fermented grape.
But dogs?
I'm sorry. No. That is wrong.
Eric, I guess we're used to it - his delicate flower sensitive skin means he must be bathed once a month, and this shampoo is the one he's used for years.
It's not really "grape soda" grape. It's a fresh smell with a hint of grape.
DOGS ARE NOT MEANT TO SMELL LIKE FRUIT! NOT EVEN A "HINT"!
NO!
;-)
Well, at least he still looks manly.
Hehe.
Almost any smell is better than native wet doggy smell.
Boogie says "Nom nom nom. I don't care what I smell like..."
Doc, you've got that right.
Although Boogie has never been a particularly smelly dog.
I don't think I've ever known a Schnauzer that had that doggy smell, wet or day.

Wendy, that's one of the reasons we have one, actually.
