'Tard of the Week - Michelle Bachmann

Wednesday, April 29, 2009
Minnesota Representative Michelle Bachmann is one of those Republicans for whom the Dems are eternally thankful. Every time she opens her mouth she removes any doubt about her education, her intelligence, and her common sense, all of which appear to be on par with those of a mentally challenged wombat.

If she's not accusing the dirty, dirty liberals of being UNAMERICAN and waxing poetic about the DANGERS OF TERRORISM she's pretending to be a qualified epidemiologist and speculating about the TRUE CAUSE of the recent outbreak of the Swine Flu:

Since my Hot SIL actually is an epidemiologist, I'm now taking bets on how quickly her head exploded after watching this clip. Poor Smart BIL - he has to clean up that nasty mess.

In Representative Bachmann's world, correlation equals causation, baby. Except when the president is a Republican, then it's all a DIRTY DIRTY LIE spread by the LIBERALS. Who are clearly UNAMERICAN.

Epic fail, Representative Bachmann. You are a federal case 'tard.

Holy fucking shit, Minnesota has their own Sarah Palin.

And you said you didn't have anything to blog about, Janiece. Snort.

Janiece Murphy said...

Jim, I can always blog about teh stoopid.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: Michele Bachman isn't Teh Stoopid. She is Teh Batshit Crazy.

It really is a miracle she hasn't been committed to a mental institution. Though some might say Congress is pretty damned close...

BTW, Epic Spelling Fail goes to me, for misspelling Bachmann's name, both first and last.

D'oh!

I'm at work and can't see the video, but I'm guessing it's the one I saw last night, where she suggested that swine flu only happens under left-wing presidents. Funny, because I thought Gerald Ford, who was president in 1976, was a Republican.

Megan, you got it in one guess.

And Mom, this woman is so stupid, it's just unbelievable. It's like she's making a career out of being Dumb in Public.

Jeri said...

Oooh, does dumb in public pay well? 'Cause I could fake it.

I am continually amazed at what comes out of that woman's mouth.
What's with Minnesota anyway? Maybe they just have a great sense of humor.

She also does not think there is anything wrong with carbon dioxide because it is a natural by-product of nature. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAaDVOd2sRQ

People voted for this moron? Really? She didn't run against a dead guy did she?

Janiece Murphy said...

Keith, I have no idea.Seriously - I'm with you. Who voted for this dumbass?

Ha! I just watched this video: the one I saw last night was just the clip of Ms. Bachmann, and it didn't include the information about who was president at the time. I feel a lot less smug about making the connection now. The site I was reading yesterday seemed to be taking her word for it that the last swine-flu outbreak happened under Carter. I'm glad you linked to this version. I like this one more.

AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Hmmm. I don't feel better after screaming. And she's been elected twice, right?

John the Scientist said...

Minnesota elected Jesse "The Body" Ventura. There's something in the water.

teh stupid, it burns us.

Actually, after listening to one of the spokespeople for the CDC talking about how this new flue includes parts of human, avian, and swine flu mixed together, I'm still waiting for the whole "It's a BioEngineered disease form Al Qaeda meant to kill us all" bruhaha to get started.
