Nickel Creek - A Lighthouse's Tale

Saturday, February 9, 2008

This is my favorite Nickel Creek song. Chris Thile's voice is sweet, and there's something about the sound of the mandolin that really touches me.

Plus, how could you not love a song that's sung in the first person by a Lighthouse?

I agree, what a fun little song. :)

I wouldn't say "fun," since 2 of the 3 principles die horribly, but I still like it.

Well, there's that sure, sheesh, what a pessimist. ;)

That's me, just a pessimist, paying attention to the death and destruction.

Look, if you're gonna listen to the words and everything. There's nothing I can do. :)

But yeah, da cow is da bomb.

Thanks. My Hot Mom made it for me.

She's the BOMB.

Although I love "A Lighthouse's Tale" I think my favorite song for Nickel Creek to play live is still "The Fox"

We've seen them several times, and I still think the first was the best--small venue, relaxed atmosphere, no play list.

I dunno what I'm going to do now they're no longer recording and touring.
