USMC Silent Drill Platoon

This is a performance at a 2007 Denver Nuggets game. I love these guys. My dad was a Marine, and so they have a special place in my heart.

Oo-Rah!

Remember how Dad only watched the Rose Parade so he could see the Marine Corps band turn that big corner?

Good times.

Powerful. One of my best friends is a Marine. Not active since Vietnam, but he says there is no such thing as an ex-Marine. Once a Marine, always a Marine.

Them's my boys.

I remember in Boot when they came looking for potential Platoon members. Had to be Infantry, had to be 6' tall, had to be active duty. Had I gone active, I would have at least gone to the first screening. They take them to 8th & I right after they graduate from the School of Infantry, and they spend two years doing that.

Incredible stuff.

Welcome, UCMF GF.

Yep, we love our comrades in arms around here. So we love your Marine, too.

But in a purely platonic fashion, of course. :-)
