The SmartMan and I went out to dinner last night, and something I ate did not agree with me. Not disagreed with me in a work on me with a pair of pliers and a blow torch kind of way, but bad enough.

I'll be back tomorrow, y'all.

Not you too! Hope your tummy feels better quickly.

I'd offer chocolate, but I don't think that would help at the moment. Maybe ginger ale and crackers.

Could it be a reaction to, you know, NON-CARP FOOD????
Just axin'.
Hope your feeling better!

CRAP!
Not carp. Who the hell eats carp? Certainly not us! That is jsut stoopid.

Man, the UCF is being knocked off one-by-one. Could Wally have something to do with this?

AGH! Why are all my friends getting sick/injured/wounded/having their guts explode?!? (The last isn't much of an exaggeration: another friend had her appendix removed a week or two ago.)

This sucks.

Feel better soon, Janiece. Lotsa fluids, don't let yourself get dehydrated. Sleep and relax.

What Eric said (except for the appendix thing...)

Hope you feel better soon!

Lots of fluids, ginger is good for nausea, and although this won't make you feel better, if it's food poisoning, chances are it's something you ate a week or two again rather than something you at yesterday.

Unless it's salmonella or some other bacteria that creates a toxin, most bacteria take 7 to 14 days to populate your gut and cause illness.

Right.

Didn't help at all. Sorry.

I think Mechanicky Gal is onto something (with both non-carp and non-crap food). That's why I'm slowly introducing healthy food back into my system, so that I don't shock it with vitamins and minerals and stuff.

Lotsa liquids, lotsa rest, feel better soon.

*hugs*

The Mechanicky Guy is making me all kinds of vegetables and "cleansing" dinners this week. (salads anyone?) He is still HORRIFIED at the amount of junk food we ate! I asked him what we were having last night and he said I needed REAL FOOD after last weekend.
He's the BOMB! (Or, as I first thought when hearing that, the BALM! Which sort of makes more sense, at least to me)

The Mechanicky Guy is indeed the BALM, and was a fabulous sport in spite of our junk-food gluttony.

I'm feeling much better today, thanks. That'll teach me to jump right back into healthy food upon my return.

Cedar Salmon (not Carp) and veggie pasta was the dinner that did me in...

What was that about two motrin and a glass of water? Hope you're feeling better after the salmon-ella...
