Fellow UCFer and recent Meat Friend Tania brought a special treaty-treat for Boogie the Giant Schnauzer when she arrived in the Mile High City.
They're called "Yummy-Chummies," and they're a chewy, salmon treat.
He loves them.
But they smell like a cannery. And so does Boogie's breath when he eats them.
So Boogie says "Thanks, Auntie Tania!" and Janiece says, "Thanks, Auntie Tania."

Yummy-Chummies
OMG that is an AWESOME name for a fish flavored pet treat!
Even better than my favorite cat treat flavor, Crustacean Crunch.
And Kat has permanent bad breath, so I feel your pain.
Boogie does not have bad breath - he never has.
Until now.
Hey, I like yummy chummiess.
What?
You get hungry out there on the river.
And, Tania, Sitka and Kenai thank you. I'll post pictures tomorrow on Stonekettle Station because I'm just that kind of guy.
I appreciated Tania's kindness - just not Boogie's new breath.
Panda and Murphy have been known to do backflips for yummy chummies. Lyza learned to open the pantry door for them. LOL
You may have created a monster, Aunt Tania!
Can a person get Yummy-Chummies for kitties?
'Cause I have to agree with Michelle that Yummy-Chummies is an awesome name for a fishy treat.
Why, yes, Cindi, you can:

Thanks for the URL. Nora (the senior Giant Schnauzer mudqueen -retired- and terrible defender of home and family -still doing a good job of terrifying & driving off the letter-carrier and the UPS guy who come to kill us all) LOVES salmon and stinky treats.
Hi, Lawrence. Boogie is the scourge of the neighborhood, too.
When he's not being a complete wimpy, that is.
Coming in days late... (I'm STILL catching up)
Sorry about the fish breath. I worked with the Arctic Paws people when they first got going, they got a USDA small business related to diversifying the use of fish grant, and I had to administer the side of it that the university had. They were the nicest people, and I am so glad that they are making a good solid go of it with the Yummy Chummies.
And since Janiece already shared it, yes they make cat treats too. My vet tech friends says that they use them in the vet clinics to entice the critters.
