- I am a Hot Chick living in Castle Rock, CO with my fabulous family. We have a rescue dog named "Jackson," and she's a Basenji/Shepherd mix. She's something of a head case, but we love her. I'm a U.S. Navy vet, and I currently work as an Enterprise Solutions Architect, specializing in VoIP and multimedia contact center design. I care about social justice, libraries, science, the U.S. Constitution and the military. I'm a tax and spend liberal in a largely red county, but I try not to be stabby about it. I knit for charity. Stupidity, cupidity and wanton assholery piss me off, and I'm more than a little soft when it comes to dogs and those who serve others. I blog about whatever I feel like. I use foul language, so if that sort of thing offends you, feel free to fuck off now - if I'm unwilling to clean up my language for my fabulous Great Auntie Margie, I'm unlikely to do so for you. I still like John Denver.
You guys say that like those are bad things.
I was upset when i found out that i could not go to the Neil Sedaka concert the other night. (but i will deny this to the death)
When I see myself in a mirror I'm shocked at how old I've become, because inside I'm still 18.
I've been known to plot evil things for people who like ABBA.
Just sayin'.
Steve, I think my "internal age" stopped at about 30. So sometimes I'm shocked, too.
And Nathan? You being Evil is not a dirty little secret. That's a well known aspect of your character.
Oooh, I was going to confess to the John Denver secret! My other secret is more respectable: the singer/songwriter that has more songs than any other on my iPod is Johnny Cash.

1) Nathan, I think there are more of us than there are of you. And I'm not sure you're more devious than we are.
2) I've known all the verses to "Country Roads" since I was a pre-teen. I may also still know all the verses to "Thank God I'm a Country Boy."

I'm totally addicted to Diana Gabaldon's series about Jaimie and Claire. I picked up the first one thinking it was just a time-travel novel. Found out it was a Bodice Ripper.
