We're going to go see The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor today. Cheesy as they were, I thoroughly enjoyed the first two, and hope this one lives up to the franchise.
The fact that I think Jet Li is the man, and that Michelle Yeoh is the woman will probably help, in spite of the fact that I'm disappointed in the recasting of the Evelyn role. I really like Rachel Weisz...we'll see if Maria Bello can cut the mustard.
Plus there'll be food pr0n nachos. Hmmm...Nachos!

I've never seen any of the mummy movies, because they just didn't sound appealing to me.
However Jet Li AND Michelle Yeoh? As unimpressed as I was by the trailer, I'd consider it for those two.
It was...okay.
Not as good as the first two, but yeah. Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh.
And the Yetis were cool.
Yeah, that's my spin too - It was ... OK.
Nothing like the first two, especially in the humor department - and it really needed that. I got the impression that it was taking itself just a little too seriously. Really not the direction to go with Brandon Fraser.
But, yeah, OK.
Still, I wish we'd had decided on Hellboy II or even Wall-E instead, and caught this on DVD.
Hellboy was fun. We enjoyed it thoroughly.
Iain and I will be seeing The Mummy this week, since Bug is away at camp...a little more mother/son bonding time.
That's disappointing. One of the things I like best about the Mummy movies is the humor. Maybe I'll catch it in DVD (though I do love Jet Li and Michelle Yeoh).
I'm going to see Hellboy tonight.
Yay! Hellboy!
I'm reading the comics. VOl 1 = excellent. Vol 2 = OK.
Yay, Hellboy!
"Hmmm....Nachos!"
Sorry. Not craving melty orange salt today.
